The Lily Series is simply a study of the White Lily. I explore as it moves from closed bud through opening to full flower. Before finally, the petals and stamens droop, whither, losing moisture.
All the pieces from the Lily Series are intaglio prints, using hard ground and soft ground, and aquatint on zinc. ‘Lilia Virides’ is a 3-plate etching in two colours.
