Helena Orlowski is an artist, printmaker and teacher working from her studio in rural Herefordshire.

Helena has trained as an artist and printmaker at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto; at post-graduate level at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts; and then as a teacher at UCL Institute of Education, London.

Over the years, Helena has worked with the mentally ill and troubled adolescents on behalf of local authorities and as a business owner. Later, as an Upper School and Special Education teacher in a Steiner school. And in recent years, as a workshop lead, tutor and gardener.

Since leaving teaching in 2010, Helena has exhibited widely through local galleries and in regional exhibitions, including a solo-show at the Leg of Mutton, Kington and 2015, h.Art Open Studios. Open Exhibition entries include ‘Pushing Print’ 2013, Margate; ‘Open Midlands’ 2013, Harley Gallery; the ‘Open West Midlands’ 2012, Tarpey Gallery; and ‘Hereford Open’ Exhibition, 2013, 2011.

Helena is an artist and printmaker with many years of experience and training across art forms and mediums, including intaglio printmaking, relief printing, collagraph printing, mono print, watercolour painting, and soft and oil pastel.
